Nicole Winter Tietel is an accomplished financial advisor and President of Winter & Associates, Inc. The fourth generation and first woman to lead this dynamic company, she has helped her clients protect, accumulate, and distribute wealth for over 25 years. She has repeatedly been a qualifying member of The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals.

Sharing her financial management expertise, Nicole has been interviewed by local and regional news outlets and featured in numerous publications including WCCO-AM, The St. Paul Pioneer Press, Minneapolis Star and Tribune, Minnesota Business Monthly, Accounting Today, Business Insider, Financial Advisor, Financial Planning, Investment News, and many others.

Nicole is devoted to serving her community and industry. She is a member of the Junior League of St. Paul, former Development Chair and board member of Dodge Nature Center and past treasurer of the St. Paul Academy Lower School Parent's Association. She is a former president of the St. Paul Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and served as President on the national board of the Securian Women's Interactive Sales Exchange from 2015-2018. Her latest community endeavor has her teaching a six-hour financial education course to individuals nearing retirement.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Babson College. Before joining the family business, she was an Associate Promotion Manager for General Mills, where she designed and executed promotions for eight brands with annual budgets in excess of $30 million. She lives in St. Paul with her husband, Michael, their two children, Shelby and Riley, and their chocolate lab, Hayden and golden retriever, Hunter.

Stephanie Morgart is a skilled management professional with over a decade of client relations experience. She has directed a network of more than 1,200 community volunteers and collaborated with dozens of program teams to ensure seamless transitions for children and families pursuing life-changing opportunities.

Her career began as a Case Manager for St. Vincent's Foster Family Services in New York. After moving to the Twin Cities, her passion for supporting families in need led her to teach at Turnquist Child Enrichment Center. Over the next eight years, she served in various coordinator and management roles at Jeremiah Program, a non-profit serving single mothers and their children.

As part of the Winter & Associates team, Stephanie is valued for her strong creative skills, attention to detail, and collaborative abilities. She joined the firm in the summer of 2015 to apply her administrative and data management strengths to helping clients realize their dreams.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Services from the University of Northern Iowa. She lives in the St. Paul area with her family and continues to volunteer her time and talents to help families and children.

Hailey Melander Crimmins

Hailey started her career in communications and law. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Communication and Emerging Media from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and also has a paralegal certificate. She spent two years as a paralegal for an agriculture company, followed by a position as a communications coordinator for a nonprofit that supported organic farmers. She started working in finance in 2018 which led to obtaining her Series 65 to further her work in the industry. Her favorite piece is seeing beyond the numbers to the story they tell. She is motivated, organized, curious, and driven, and is excited to be part of the team at Winter & Associates.

Hailey grew up in Wilson, Wisconsin and is passionate about both country and city life. She loves nature, books, cooking, and running, and is always looking to learn something new and fascinating. She currently lives in St. Paul with her husband, Kevin, and their Maine Coon cat, Seamus.

In 2017, during his hour-and-a-half Chicago commute to his first job after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Augsburg University, Taylor started listening to a financial podcast on Spotify. While many people may have considered it to be very dull and boring, he considers it the reason he made the career change to pursue his passions in finance. He’s been learning in the industry ever since.

As the newest Winter & Associates team member, Taylor puts his investment and portfolio analysis skills to work to help ensure clients’ accounts have the proper allocations and strategies for each individual’s financial needs and objectives. His values of hard-work, family-first, and ethical nature make him a great fit in finding individually suited investments.

Taylor grew up on a small farm where he fell in love with hard-work and the outdoors. While currently living in Minneapolis, he spends his time away from work on family, fishing, hunting, and playing many sports such as golf, tennis, and especially cornhole!

Winter & Associates will be moving its office to 333 Grand Avenue, Suite 201 in Saint Paul's Grand Professional Building in April 2021 (exact date TBD). Check back for updates.
